HISTORY

The hub was created so Carpenders Park & South Oxhey Methodist Church could become a transformative centre bringing practical change and spiritual hope to the local community.

MISSION

To be a transformative centre that nurtures spiritual growth, strengthens community connections, promotes economic empowerment, and brings meaningful change that uplifts the host community.

VISION

To become a vibrant and inclusive life-giving Mission Hub where people draw living water, experience healing and renewal, and are empowered to live transformed lives.

ECO FRIENDLY

At Thy Living Waters Mission Hub, caring for creation is part of how we live out our faith. We are working towards our Eco Church award through A Rocha UK's national scheme, taking practical steps across worship and teaching, our buildings and energy use, the land we look after, our community and global engagement, and the everyday lifestyle choices of our congregation. Each small change — from greener energy to wildlife-friendly grounds to more sustainable habits at home — moves us closer to a Bronze, Silver, and eventually Gold award, and helps us model what it looks like for a local church to take the climate and nature crisis seriously as an act of worship, not just good practice.

Our Team

At the heart of our Mission Hub is a small team of six dedicated volunteers who love to welcome people just as they are. Each one brings their own story, gifts and personality, but they share the same passion: to create a space where everyone feels seen, listened to and valued.

We are deeply grateful for the time and love they give so generously. Their quiet acts of service are a reminder that small, consistent kindness can change lives and open the door to new beginnings. Bringing People Together And Building Community.
